Biography
Jagdeep (Jag) qualified as a solicitor in June 1993.
He was previously Head of Service with the largest local government legal department in Europe, and more recently a partner with leading top 50 national and top 20 global defendant insurance firms.
He has a broad range of experience and skill set, and has often undertaken challenging work – trouble shooting, working in new and emerging areas or undertaking discrete sensitive investigations. He has a particular specialism in commercial and business dispute resolution and litigation.
He undertakes work for large and small corporate clients, individuals, HNWI/UHNWI and within the public sector/not for profit organisations.
His focus is on achieving efficient, pragmatic, practical solutions, and resolution of disputes with an overwhelming desire to achieve successful outcomes for his clients.
He has a wealth of litigation and dispute resolution experience gained over 30 years in practice, undertaking both defendant and claimant work to include significant and unrivalled Public Sector (PS) experience.
Jag undertakes a range of work and without limitation to include Professional Negligence, Contract, Company/Commercial, business and partnership disputes. He has been engaged in numerous high-value claims including contract and construction/procurement & warranty disputes, misappropriation claims and fraud recoveries work, Housing Stock Transfer claims, ERDF grant claw-back claims involving the Department for Communities & Local Government.
Away from work, Jag is a family man with 2 grown up daughters. He is also a self-taught builder and has spent many years working the tools, operating heavy plant and machinery & building his own 3 storey Passivhaus from the ground up – all in his spare time and at weekends. Time permitting he also enjoys time away with his family, and travel to foreign climbs, and films. He recently returned from an extended career break travelling across Asia with his family.
